Motorized Graber Zebra Sheer Shades comes with dual layers of fabrics made in parallel to each other with horizontal fabric segments alternating between sheer and semi-opaque or opaque fabric. When the opaque band and sheer band are aligned parallel, the shades become in the closed position and the light and the view through are blocked. When the sheer vanes are aligned parallel, light filters through the sheer fabric and unobstructed outside view are attained through the sheers. Shades control the amount of incoming light and the view-through with the shade partially raised or lowered. 99% of UV rays are blocked by these shades when closed.
