Dual layers of fabrics made in parallel to each other with horizontal fabric segments alternating between sheer and semi-opaque or opaque fabric.  When open and the sheer vanes are aligned parallel, light filters through the sheer fabric and unobstructed outside view are attained through the sheers. When the opaque band and sheer band are aligned parallel, the shades become in the closed position and the light and the view through are blocked. Shades control the amount of incoming light and the view-through with the shade partially raised or lowered. 99% of UV rays are blocked by these shades when closed.

Light Control and Privacy

Sheers:- Allows the most spectrum of light into the room to give an outside view. Objects in a lit room can be seen quite clearly through when sheer part of the fabric is open or aligned parallel.

Light Filtering:  Let the light in softly diffusing through and provides moderate privacy. Blurred Images or silhouettes and shapes may be seen through these shades without visible details. Deep or dark fabric colors provide moderate light control while light colors provide reduced light control. These fabrics are translucent or opaque, and their colors may be influenced by varying light conditions. Colors may show up to vary depending upon the source of lighting or type of illumination, as well as whether the shade is fully or partially lowered.
