We offer many types of motorization. If you're not sure if you have a Motorized Crown or Zebra Sheer Shade, check if your shade has a built-in rechargeable battery. This feature is unique to these shades.
Using a Remote
Your shade will have come with one of three types of remotes: a single channel remote, a six (6) channel remote, or a sixteen (16) channel remote. They each function similarly.
Hold the remote so that the controls or channel indicators are oriented towards the top.
Raising and Lowering Your Shade
To raise your shade fully, hold the 'up' button, indicated with an arrow pointing upwards, for two seconds.
To raise your shade to the next preset position, press the 'up' button once. If you have no presets, this will raise your shade fully.
To stop movement of your shade, simply press the middle square 'stop' button.
To lower your shade fully, hold the 'down' button, indicated with an arrow pointing downwards, for two seconds.
If you have the six channel or sixteen channel remote, you can also change channels to operate different shades.
Tochange channels, press the 'left' or 'right' buttons, indicated by arrows pointing in those directions. The channel indicator will change to show the current channel.
To controll all channels at once, change the channel to the last channel, then press the 'right' button once more. The channel indicator will change to show all channels being selected.
Charging Your Shade
These shades are operated by a built-in rechargeable battery.
To charge your shade, find the connector on the motor end of the roller. Connect this to your included charging lead, and plug the charging lead into a wall outlet. These take 8 hours to fully charge, and last 4-6 months under normal operation.
