We offer many types of motorization. If you're not sure if you have a Motorized Crown or Zebra Sheer Shade, check if your shade has a built-in rechargeable battery. This feature is unique to these shades.
Sometimes you will need to reset your motor in order to clear all preset positions, or as a first step to troubleshooting an issue. If you want to delete only a single preset position, go here.
There are two methods to reset your motor to factory settings:
Method 1: Hold the 'program' button on your motor for 7 seconds. The motor will jog once, after 1 second. It will then jog two more times during the 7 seconds.
Method 2: Hold the 'stop' button on your paired remote for 5 seconds. The motor will jog once.
Then, hold the 'program' button on the back of the remote for 7 seconds. The motor will jog once, after 1 second. It will then jog two more times during the 7 seconds.
And that's it. If you are having problems with your shade, try resetting the motor and then programming your shade from scratch. After you reset your motor, you will have to set the upper and lower limits, as well as any preset positions.
