Free Shipping Policy
At ZebraBlinds Canada, we believe in keeping costs low for you — and that includes shipping and handling costs. There’s nothing more annoying than finding a great bargain online only to find out that it’s not such a great deal after all, thanks to hidden costs and shipping fees. At ZebraBlinds.ca, we offer free shipping anywhere within Canadian provinces or territories (excluding certain oversized items and shutters).
No Import Fees
Most orders will ship at no cost to you, and because we’re a Canadian company, you won't have to pay brokerage fees, duties, customs and other unexpected costs. With our transparent pricing, low-price guarantee and free shipping on most orders, the price you see is the price you get. When you shop with us, it’s easier for you to budget for your new window look.
Shipping Information for Oversize Window Coverings and Shutters
All oversize window coverings are charged an additional shipping & handling surcharge of $85.00. This applies to all orders 96” wider or greater, which equates to approximately 4% of orders. For Vertical Blinds, the surcharge applies to blinds 94” (width or length) and greater.
For Shutters, there is a handling charge of $5/ shutter with a minimum of $20 and maximum of $70 per order. The lead time is 8 weeks for all shutters.
Shipping Address Verification
Normally due to restrictions by our payment processor we are only able ship to the billing address provided. If you require the shipping address to be different from the billing address, you may use a paypal verified address and selecting paypal as the payment method at checkout. If the address is not verified in paypal, the verification process can take up to 7 business days. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you use the same address for billing and shipping. If the shipping address cannot be verified within 10 days, the customer should either accept the order to be shipped to billing address or cancel the order at a charge of 7% towards the transaction fee.
Shipment Acceptance Compliance
It is the customer's responsibility to receive or arrange to collect the order at the time of delivery, scheduled by respective carriers. If customer fails to receive/collect orders from the carrier, the customer will be billed and charged against carrier's penalties and fees towards storage, demurrage and return shipping if applicable.
Shipping Lead Times
Most orders complete manufacturing and are shipped out within 5 - 10 business days of the orders being placed with an additional 1-2 weeks for shipping; total time for delivery typically takes 2 - 5 weeks. However, please note that the final delivery time can fluctuate due to seasonal demand and other circumstances out of our control, such as delays at the manufacturer as well as material backlogs or backorders. NOTE: Due to the current situation with COVID-19, we are experiencing extended lead times on most products. This extended lead time is a result of a reduction in manufacturing capacity at our facilities as well as partner facilities due to recent social distancing requirements as well as additional delays due to new sanitation measures.
